Job summary

Sellers & Associates, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator in Plant City, FL to provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and to establish and maintain security related to users. The role leads IT projects including software deployments, system migrations and networking configurations, with 0-10% travel and the ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities include monitoring, maintaining servers, networks, and storage, onboarding new hires, and implementing Intune and Azure AD

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server OS, AD, Azure, Intune, and networking using Cisco CLI.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills for non-technical users.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues to ensure proper function of systems.
• Onboard new hires with working computers and policy awareness.
• Install, upgrade, configure, test, maintain and support OS and applications in production.
• Maintain configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
• Perform daily system monitoring and verify backups and job schedules.
• Manage on-site and remote networks (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Aruba) and device management.
• Design, implement and maintain Intune & Azure AD Group Policy Settings for users, servers and workstations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues across users, servers, storage and networks.
• Inventory management with asset tagging and auditing.
• Review logs and investigate anomalies; apply security patches.

Sellers & Associates is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users. Lead and complete a diverse set of IT projects (software deployments, system migrations, updates, networking configurations). Exhibit a track record of solid IT systems knowledge by with hardware, software, network printers, VOIP phone systems and other network technology.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
• Participate in onboarding of new hires through electronic presentation; ensure that new hires have functioning computers and are aware of how to use according to company policies and guidelines
• Install, upgrade, configure, test, maintain and support operating system software and associated applications in a production environment.
• Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Local/Remote Network Management and configuration (Cisco switches, Ubiquiti routers, Aruba IAP's, Blade servers/VM's)
• Design, implement and maintain Intune & Azure Active Directory Group Policy Settings to manage users, servers, and workstations
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, and storage and network connectivity.
• Inventory Management with the use of asset tagging and auditing
• Review system and security logs and investigate anomalies.
• Apply security patches to applications and operating systems

Requirements:

• CompTIA Security + Certification
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills
• Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
• Experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and Networking to include Cisco CLI usage
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and SNMP monitoring
• Strong technical, analytical, and trouble-shooting skills with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical end-users
• Database experience is a plus
