Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC seeks a System Administrator to support the U.S. Space Force's CCS-C in Colorado Springs, ensuring reliability and readiness of mission-critical MILSATCOM systems.

Required active Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+. Bachelor’s in a technical field with 2–4 years of related experience; knowledge of Unix/Linux, Oracle/Access DB, and AD/Vsphere is preferred. On-site role with potential for TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• Current Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II) required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent.
• Experience with MILSATCOM operations, satellite command and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain DoD CCS-C domain and file servers; monitor system anomalies for optimal performance.
• Establish/maintain operational databases, software configuration control, and interfaces for C2 systems.
• Monitor and prepare systems for operational use and readiness.
• Support operational testing of systems and capabilities.

ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC is seeking a System Administrator to support the U.S. Space Force's Critical Satellite Communications (C-SAR) mission in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and readiness of mission-critical systems that support MILSATCOM operations around the globe.

Location: CCS-C Satellite System at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.
Clearance:At a minimum, Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

What You'll Bring

• At a minimum, Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Current Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II), or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience supporting MILSATCOM operations, satellite command and control systems, or a related developmental/operational environment preferred
• Must be self-motivated and capable of interacting with organizations internally and externally that consist of groups of operators, developers, engineers, testers and product vendors.
• Must be able to articulate technical concepts verbally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in any of these areas is beneficial: Unix, Linux, Oracle Database, Access Database. IMDS, Active Directory, Cactus and Vsphere, however, training will be provided as needed.
• Knowledge of Satellite Systems Operations.
• Two to four years of experience in a MILSATCOM developmental or operational environment or Satellite Command and Control systems experience, is desired.
• Ability to comprehend new information in a dynamic environment.
• Be able to apply and communicate learned knowledge.
• Team orientated.

Job Duties

The Systems Administrator will help to maintain the DoD Command & Control System - Consolidated (CCS-C). Duties will include, but not be limited to...

• Maintain domain file servers, archive file servers, live operational network access, and document and analyze system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment and system performance.
• Establish and maintain operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for C2 computer systems.
• Monitor and prepare system for operational use.
• Support operational testing.
