Description
The Systems Administrator within the Information Technology (IT) team fully supports the efforts of Click Bond, while supporting the IT team by driving the strategic design, implementation, and maintenance of our environment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the IT infrastructure field. This person will be responsible for the architecture and maintenance of a Windows Server and Vmware based environment. The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in high availability, disaster recovery, and redundancy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supporting data contingency planning and data disaster recovery plans.
- Participates in the planning, design and implementation of network, server and virtualization technology.
- Support continuous process improvement, helping to develop and refine processes to positively impact product quality, performance and increase productivity.
- Manages projects and daily tasks as part of the IT Team. This includes:
Being hands on.
Managing servers, storage, networks, hardware and supporting software
Ensure the availability of all critical systems.
Provide technical assistance on issues and follow-up.
- Establish system and or network specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow access, information, and security requirements.
- Proactively monitor systems, networks, and software to identify performance related issues, potential issues that could impact availability and sources of security vulnerabilities.
- Upgrade systems, networks, software, testing, evaluation, and installing enhancements.
- Continuously updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities such as reading professional publications, maintaining test labs and attending related training.
- Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Works through tasks and projects keeping the organizational goal(s) as the top priority.
- Explore new technology and opportunities to add value to the organization.
- Maintain integrity of the servers, network, software and security.
- Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
- Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CB policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2003-2016
- Experience with virtualization technology; Vmware, vSphere, Horizon and ThinApps.
- SAN and SAN fabric experience.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005-2016 Administration.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Microsoft Federation Services and Azure Integration.
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
- System Design and Planning.
- VOIP Experience.
- Unified Wireless System Experience.
- Network Experience (VLAN, Routing, VPN, BGP, Active Monitoring, Firewalls and Trouble Resolution).
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from management and users.
- Team player who can work effectively with all levels of company personnel.
- Ability to work with a ticketing system and fulfill the requirement to complete documentation.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and work at multiple remote sites.
- Read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write and read English.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3-6 years’ experience in related field.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This is not a supervisory position.
