A leading national security company is seeking a skilled system manager to oversee and enhance authentication and monitoring systems. This position involves critical responsibilities within the enterprise security framework and requires candidates to have relevant certifications and experience. The System Management Branch, part of DoDIN-A operations, focuses on multiple dispersed, independent/intra-dependent systems performing various functions such as Operating System (OS), Hardware (HW), databases, and software applications. These systems are interoperable with other elements to perform functions as part of larger, complex systems. The GCC operates, monitors, sustains, and secures enterprise-directed systems throughout the GCC AOR and internal services.
Directory Services: The GCC maintains, secures, and troubleshoots authentication and directory services according to system owner policies and guidance. Responsibilities include managing, sustaining, and deploying authentication, directory, and policy services within the GCC AOR, Army Unified Directory Services (AUDS), and Active Directory Restructure (AD/R). The contractor shall provide Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), essential for the Army's zero trust environment, including enterprise and domain-level management, authentication services, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and managing subordinate services like Certificate Authorities.
Sensor Operation and Management: The GCC employs network and host monitoring systems (IPS/IDS, SIEM, and other sensors) to monitor, detect, verify, and report security events. Support includes installing, maintaining, deploying, managing, and hardening various enterprise sensor systems. Manage all NIPRNet and SIPRNet sensors within CONUS, with a projected 20% growth over the task order's duration. Perform advanced systems administration related to platform architecture, configuration, lifecycle support, and technology refresh. Daily backups, system upgrades, and configuration management are required.
Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure the SIEM, utilizing its full capabilities to log and analyze security events, which can number up to 50 million daily from multiple sources. Develop and document disaster recovery procedures for all sensors and related systems, storing them in the government-approved data repository. Establish and maintain written procedures for hardware/software tracking and documentation, and coordinate sensor installation and troubleshooting with installation NECs or customer points of contact, maintaining current contact rosters.
