Job summary

Providence in Washington seeks an Executive Director, Laboratory Services to serve as the chief administrative leader for laboratory operations across the division, overseeing multiple laboratories and integrating acute and ambulatory services to support Providence patients.

You will collaborate with system leaders to provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership, driving transformation, quality, and service delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong physician

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in science or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of leadership with P&L accountability in a large, complex healthcare or lab environment.
• Experience overseeing multi-campus laboratory operations and integration of services.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation initiatives across the division to modernize laboratory services.
• Develop governance and operating models for integrated, efficient, high-quality delivery.
• Partner with system leaders and physicians to advance strategic initiatives and financial performance.
