Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a System Test Specialist to support test technicians, troubleshoot complex failures, and coordinate with engineers and program managers in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will assist with server or rack level tests, use JIRA and Teams to escalate blockers, monitor test lab activity, and help train technicians. A IT/CS background and relevant certifications are preferred, with a base around $28.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience in computer/server hardware.
• Associates degree in IT or related certification, or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications are beneficial but not required.
• Experience configuring Microsoft OS (Vista/Win7/Server) and basic Linux is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support technicians in debugging and troubleshooting complex test failures.
• Escalate test interruptions and inhibitors using JIRA and Microsoft Teams.
• Monitor engineering activity in test labs and track equipment utilization.
• Validate test flow for new products entering process.
• Monitor and report technical issues impacting test processes.
• Provide training and assistance to techs in personal, group or virtual sessions.
• Track process performance metrics such as cycle time, retries, yields, and product age.
