Job Description:

We are seeking a lab management technician to oversee all systems testing robotics laboratory assets supporting hardware and software verification and validation activities. In this role, you will manage lab setup, maintenance, and asset tracking, gaining in-depth knowledge of robotics systems, software upgrades/downgrades, and lab configurations for testing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, calibrate, clean, and test lab equipment and robotics assets
• Provide technical support for lab assets
• Manage asset tracking system to ensure accurate location, status, and availability
• Upgrade and downgrade software on robotic devices for testing
• Issue assets from inventory to testing engineers
• Return assets to inventory and restore baseline states
• Manage maintenance plans for multiple labs via asset management software
• Collaborate with management to optimize V&V lab utilization
• Assist engineers with basic lab procedures, such as hardware calibration (training provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple software systems
• Experience working in high-throughput lab environments
• Prior operation and maintenance of robotics systems

Qualifications:

• Education: AS/B.S. in a scientific discipline or equivalent

Experience and Skills:

• 1-4 years supporting scientific research roles
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and deadline adherence
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents
• Ability to produce routine reports and correspondence
