Job summary

Programmers.io seeks a Senior Program Manager / System Test Engineering Manager in Santa Clara, CA to lead a team of 30–50 engineers. You will guide hardware and software test programs for datacenter products, driving test readiness from design through high-volume production.

Responsibilities include refining test solutions, enabling automated diagnostics, and building capable test infrastructures while collaborating across hardware, software, diagnostics, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of post-silicon validation experience in board or system products.
• 2+ years of management or leading technical teams and projects.
• BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, chip to system.
• Python programming and bash scripting experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Refine manufacturing test solutions for System products translating them to methodologies and processes applicable to datacenter products.
• Investigate and enhance new manufacturing test technology and methodology to enhance production efficiency.
• Improve or develop new test strategies for products and test infrastructure including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.
• Build automated diag generation and validation infrastructure.
• Lead and advise a team of engineers to handle NPI and Sustenance product line.
• Guide teams in resolving technical problems.

Client is looking looking for a Senior program manager who is capable of handling team size up to 30 to 50 members. He or she should have prior technical experience as silicon validation/ hardware validation/ board design/ failure analysis etc.

System Test Engineering Manager

for supporting key technology customer's manufacturing test program for Datacenter System products. Through your leadership and HW/SW expertise, you will lead engineers in developing test methodologies and processes that have long-lasting impact. As a System Test Engineering Manager, you will work on the challenging areas of test, test automation, and delivering high-quality products to customers.

As a manager in the Datacenter Test Solutions Group, you will work closely with hardware, software, diagnostics, manufacturing, operations, and product teams to drive test readiness from early product development through high-volume production. Your leadership will help define processes and solutions that improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and long-term execution across different system programs.

• Familiarity with Linux-based systems, firmware, BMC, networking, PCIe, NVLink, or thermal/power validation.
• Proven ability to build teams, define processes, and drive execution across multiple product programs.
