Dexory is seeking a System Test Engineer to enhance their internal tools used in the warehousing and logistics industry. The role is primarily on-site in Wallingford, Iowa, focusing on programming and improving software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python or Go, Linux systems, and tool distribution practices. The position offers competitive benefits, including private healthcare, life insurance, and 25 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in Python and/or Go, and capable of working across a multi-language codebase.
• Experience distributing and operating internal tools including packaging and dependency management.
• Ability to write clear documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve packaging and distribution practices.
• Unify and standardize tools into a coherent toolchain with a consistent user experience.
• Build and maintain CLI tooling for robot and fleet operations.

Skills

Proficiency in Python or Go

Comfortable with Linux based systems

Very good version control experience with Git

Strong debugging/problem-solving skills

Building and maintaining reliable CLI tooling
