Job summary

Lunar Energy is looking for a System Integration and Test Lead Engineer in San Francisco, CA. This highly technical role requires experience in integrated hardware and embedded software, focusing on cross-functional integration. Responsibilities include developing test cases, performing hardware and firmware testing, and ensuring system robustness. Candidates should have a BS in CS, EE, or equivalent, with strong skills in Python and C programming. Competitive pay: $120,000-$170,000, with great benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with integrated hardware and embedded software.
• Proven track record in solving cross-functional integration problems.
• Fluent in scripting/automation using Python.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing new features and develop test cases.
• Perform manual tests and capture results.
• Create automated system-level regression tests.

Skills

Windows, Mac and Linux platform experience

Strong skills in Python

Good understanding of C programming language

Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and data analysis tools

Ability to debug complicated system-level behavior

Outstanding written and verbal communication

Experience with hardware in the loop testing

Able to read electrical schematics and device/component datasheets

Experience with BMS, batteries, and power electronics

Experience with CAN, Wifi, Ethernet communications

Education

BS in CS, EE, or equivalent
