Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an EV testing engineer to evaluate hardware and software for heavy-duty applications. You will work with BMS testing, power supplies, and loop heater loads, validating truck ECU systems and electrical drive components on both bench and vehicle platforms.

The role requires hands-on CAN/J1939 experience, strong debugging skills, and the ability to reproduce and analyze field-reported issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with testing EV hardware and software systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical architecture in automotive environments.
• Hands-on experience with CAN/J1939 networks and diagnostic procedures.
• Proven ability to reproduce field issues on test benches and in-vehicle environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware/software emulation and BMS testing, power supplies and loads.
• Carry out system testing for truck ECUs and systems.
• Test electrical components for truck electric drive systems.
• Reproduce field issues on test benches and trucks to validate fixes.
• Develop test cases from system requirements and ensure traceability.
