Job summary

Ferrero is seeking a System Supervisor at our New Jersey facility to support inventory control, production tracking, and workforce administration. You will handle SAP inventory transactions, payroll inputs, and attendance tracking for Ferrero and agency staff, working closely with operations, warehouse personnel, and temporary workers to ensure accurate records and efficient production reporting.

You will oversee daily inventory counts, material consumption, and variances; generate reports;

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, inventory control or production environment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, data analysis).
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; familiarity with UKG/Novatime or other timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory counts on production floor and storage locations.
• Monitor material consumption and investigate variances.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues and report timely.
• Generate and maintain weekly and bi-weekly inventory reports (non-BOM, VRAC, WIP, semi-finished).
• Perform SAP inventory transactions and DUV activities under supervision.
• Audit production declarations in SAP and ensure procedures are followed.
• Track production hours, line utilization, and metrics using local tools.
• Balance inventory during changeovers and manage returns to warehouse.
• Prepare daily production summaries and reconcile with 3PL receipts, investigate discrepancies; communicate root causes.
• Track employee attendance and maintain timesheets for Ferrero and agency staff (UKG).
• Manage temporary agency timesheets using Novatime/UKG and labor records.
• Print product labels for international runs as needed.
• Enter and maintain daily production efficiency data.
• Support training for temporary employees in counting and relabeling returns.
• Support CI initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and reporting.

The System Supervisor is responsible for supporting inventory control, production tracking, and workforce administration activities within the manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role ensures inventory accuracy through SAP transactions, reporting, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations while also supporting payroll and attendance tracking for both agency and Ferrero employees. The position works closely with operations, inventory management, warehouse personnel, and temporary employees to maintain accurate records, support production reporting, and drive operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inventory counts on the production floor and storage locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor material consumption and investigate under-consumption and over-consumption variances.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Generate and maintain weekly and bi-weekly inventory reports for non-BOM (Bill of Materials) materials, VRAC, WIP and semi-finished products.
• Perform SAP inventory transactions, including DUV activities, under the guidance and supervision of the Inventory Manager.
• Control and audit production declarations within SAP, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Monitor and track production hours, line utilization, and operational metrics using local databases and spreadsheets.
• Balance inventory during product changeovers and coordinate the return of unused materials to the warehouse.
• Prepare daily production summary reports and reconcile production output against third-party logistics (3PL) receipts, identifying and resolving discrepancies and communicating root cause analyses to improve inventory accuracy.
• Track employee attendance and maintain accurate timesheet records for Ferrero employees within UKG.
• Manage temporary agency timesheets using Novatime/UKG and maintain accurate labor records.
• Print product labels as required for international production runs.
• Enter and maintain daily production efficiency and performance data.
• Support and train temporary employees for counting and relabeling returns.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, material control, and production reporting.
  

About You:
Education: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: 2-3 years experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, inventory control or production environment preferred.
Specific Knowledge & Skills

• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with UKG/Novatime or other timekeeping and payroll systems preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk the production floor regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout a production environment
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

The base compensation range for this position is $57,000.00 - $68,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
