NVIDIA Corporation is hiring a System Software Engineer for the UEFI Firmware team in Santa Clara, CA. You will develop features for UEFI firmware, document architecture, and debug firmware issues across a global set of teams.

Qualifications include a BS/MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent, 2+ years in low-level OS work, superb C skills, and experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, and Linux kernel.

• BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in low-level operating system functionality, specifically in areas of ARM technologies and programming is invaluable
• Superb C programming and debugging skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, Linux kernel are preferred
• Working experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers
• Experience working with AI development tools

We are now hiring a System Software Engineer for the UEFI Firmware team! You will be heavily involved with the early modeling and simulation required to produce our world-class products, and will follow the project all the way through the development process to deployment in gaming consoles, servers, and AI devices that are used throughout the world.

What you'll be doing:

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and other objective job-related factors. The expected base salary ranges for this position are: 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD for Level 2; and 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
