Unconventional, Inc. is seeking a Member of Technical Staff, System Software (Runtime & Firmware) to help build a new AI computer stack. You will work across runtime on Linux hosts and embedded firmware on SOCs, shaping all three layers from first principles.

The role demands strong C/C++ skills, Python, and deep experience with hardware bring-up, drivers, and cross-team collaboration. Mountain View is the office hub with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field such as EE, CE, CS.
• At least 7+ years in embedded firmware, driver or hardware-adjacent software.
• Strong C/C++ on embedded processors with hardware interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Runtime: Build the runtime that executes models on the machine across simulation and real silicon.
• Embedded firmware: design bare-metal software for on-device processor including scheduling and calibration.
• Drivers & host interface: develop drivers and host-device protocols across the boundary.
• Silicon & software bring-up: lead post-silicon work with Hardware to bring up the platform.
• Cross-functional collaboration: partner with AI, modeling, and hardware teams to ship prototypes.
