Role: Systems Safety Engineer

Clearance: Must be applicable to obtain TS/SCI

We are looking for a Systems Safety Engineer to support the application of System Safety assurances processes. Looking for a candidate that has a background in system safety, particularly in accordance with SAE ARP4754A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and apply safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry guidelines and including SAE ARP4754A and related standards (e.g., ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254).
• Support development and maintenance of the system safety assessment and analyses including: Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), Common Cause Analysis (CCA)
• Collaborate with engineers to develop, review and maintain safety documentations.

Qualifications Required:

• 5 years of professional experience in system safety engineering within aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical domains.
• In-depth knowledge and application of SAE ARP4754A and familiarity with related standards (ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254).
• Experience developing and supporting system safety analyses (FTA, FMEA, CCA).
• 401k: Employer contributes 25% of base salary, no employee contribution required ($25,000 – $50,000 annually, paid in monthly)
• Benefits Account (can be spent on benefits or taken as cash): 25% of base salary ($25,000 – $50,000)
