About the Role

Position Summary

Care Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Security Systems Programmer for a high-volume, large-scale enterprise security project. As a Security Systems Programmer, you will play a key role in configuring, programming, and integrating Agent Vi video analytics with Genetec Security Center. You'll collaborate closely with our project team to ensure seamless, secure, and reliable system performance across a large-scale camera deployment.

Responsibilities

System Programming & Integration

• Program, configure, and integrate Agent Vi video analytics and its integration with Genetec Security Center.
• Customize system settings to optimize performance and functionality across a large-scale, ~600-camera deployment.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and issue resolution across analytics, VMS, cameras, network, servers, and configuration to maintain seamless system operation.

Technical Collaboration & Implementation

• Partner with Care Security Systems' engineers and project managers to execute a tailored, large-scale security integration.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation of all programming work performed.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the project team on progress and issues.

Network & Security Expertise

• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and Care Security Systems' rigorous security and reliability standards.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of cameras, servers, networking, alarms, events, and rules within an enterprise VMS environment.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Genetec Security Center programming and integration.
• Experience with enterprise video analytics and VMS integrations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and isolate issues across analytics, VMS, camera, network, server, and configuration layers.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise systems, with the ability to speak specifically to what you personally programmed.
• Strong documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Professionalism and reliability suited to working in a sensitive, high-security enterprise environment.
• Verifiable references who can speak to your actual programming experience.

Preferred Skills

• Agent Vi experience strongly preferred; candidates without direct Agent Vi experience but with a strong Genetec/programming background and demonstrated ability to learn new platforms quickly will also be considered.
