Job summary

JOHNSON SERVICE GROUP is seeking a System/Network - Security Administrator for an onsite 6-month contract in Tampa, FL. Candidates should have experience in system and network administration with an emphasis on security patch management and patch assessment.

Preferred familiarity with SCCM, Lansweeper, ChangeGear, SharePoint, and Tripwire, and the ability to manage patch deployment and compliance documentation, including NERC CIP requirements.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have experience in system and network administration, and be familiar with security patch management, including assessing Microsoft and third-party software security patches.

Responsibilities

• Assess cybersecurity patches every 28 days for all BES software and hardware assets, including Transient Cyber Assets.
• Download all applicable cybersecurity patches and verify software patch integrity.
• Distribute applicable cybersecurity patches to the appropriate groups.
• Review Patch Verification Reports and supporting evidence to ensure no required security patch installations were missed.
• Create or modify NERC CIP compliance documentation as required.

Location: Tampa, FL (33618) – Onsite Monday >>> Friday 6-month contract (possibly extensions or perm down the road)

Required Experience & Skills

The candidate should have experience in system and network administration, and be familiar with security patch management, including assessing Microsoft and third-party software security patches.

Experience with the following software (or equivalent) is strongly preferred:
