Job summary

A healthcare system is seeking a System Medical Director for Occupational Health and Employee Health Services to provide clinical leadership and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will support the strategic vision of the department, handle complex employee medical cases, and oversee safety investigations and worker’s compensation. Candidates should be board certified in Occupational Medicine or a related field and possess strong communication skills. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee wellness and improving healthcare delivery in the region.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a current, unrestricted medical license and be a member in good standing of the Tower Health Medical Staff and THMG.
• BC/BE in Occupational Medicine preferred. Significant experience in Occupational Medicine required if not.
• Knowledge of relevant legislative framework including OSHA, ADA, and FMLA.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for system Occupational Health & Worker’s Compensation matters.
• Collaborate to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and support Worker Safety program through clinical leadership.

Skills

Knowledge of PA workers compensation system

Excellent oral/written communication skills

Strong education/teaching skills

BC/BE in Occupational Medicine

Current, unrestricted medical license
