CommonSpirit Health is seeking a System Manager, SSRM Value Analysis to drive clinical cost-reduction initiatives and standardization within the assigned category. You will provide clinical input to contracting and evaluate new technologies to optimize patient care while controlling costs.

Collaborating with national service lines and operations, you will lead product evaluations and implement best practices that maximize value and resource efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in nursing or other clinical discipline required at hire.
  • Experience with supply chain software and standard office tools.
  • Proven project management experience with ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Minimum five years of experience in clinical operations.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our System Manager, SSRM Value Analysis, you will be responsible for clinical direction within the assigned category team, with primary focus on cost reduction opportunities, contract utilization, and standardization initiatives.Every day, you will act as a clinical expert position that provides input into contracting processes and serves as the clinical resource for new technology and practice. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and implement best practices that enhance patient care while optimizing costs.To be successful in your role, you will strategically lead value analysis initiatives, leveraging your clinical expertise to drive cost reduction, optimize contract utilization, and standardize practices within your assigned category. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership in assessing new technologies, influencing contracting processes, and ensuring that all initiatives enhance patient care while maximizing resource efficiency across the organization.

  • Participates in identifying, planning, and facilitating the implementation of cost reduction initiatives as developed by the category team
  • Collaborates with various teams including national service lines, clinical collaboration groups, divisional implementation, and operations to provide clinical direction on contracting requirements, new technologies, clinical practice standards, and national initiatives within assigned category
  • Quantifies, analyzes and formulates recommendations for products used within CommonSpirit Health. Leads product evaluations, utilizing value analysis principles, in support of cost savings initiatives
  • Supports best practices and established processes for new product introduction, review, analysis and communication
  • Collaborates with product manufacturers, developing partnerships and insights into their perspectives around product utilization, cost reduction, new technology and opportunities
  • Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to achieve a maximized level of customer service and optimized cost reduction
Job Requirements
Required
  • Bachelors Of Science in Nursing or other clinical discipline, upon hire
  • Experience with and literate in supply chain computer applications, Microsoft Office or Google applications and user knowledge of each to achieve supply chain goals
  • Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to prioritize and manage highly sensitive competing projects
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in clinical operations
Preferred
  • Project Management experience and Project Management Professional, upon hire
