Bozeman Health is seeking a System Manager of Epic Applications to lead IT configurations supporting Revenue Cycle Management. We are seeking an energetic leader to oversee Epic IT configurations that support Revenue Cycle Management. In this role, you will manage a team responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and driving key configuration efforts within the healthcare revenue cycle domain.
As a System Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to business operational and clinical stakeholders—offering clear, practical guidance and collaborating across teams to improve healthcare IT solutions. You will also lead Epic system upgrades and routine maintenance, with a focus on modules including Prelude, Cadence, HIM, and both Professional and Hospital Billing (Resolute).

Position Summary:
The System Manager of Epic Applications is responsible for managing the Epic Certified Application Analysts. These staff are responsible for working with clinical subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, build, validate, test, optimize, and support the Epic system based on best practice methods. This role is responsible for independently formulating and implementing solutions to respond to and resolve customer requests, issues, and problems, while meeting the changing demands and priorities of the health system and the third-party environments. This role will coordinate issues within their teams and escalate as appropriate. The System Manager Epic Applications is expected to be involved in not only the install planning, but also the long-term support of Epic and will need to be able to effectively delegate projects and tasks to the team. Additionally this role will manage the team resources to ensure analysis of workflows is in-depth, data collection is thorough, report details are adequate, and other technical requirements required are achieved so the users’ needs are met. The System Manager Epic Applications will create and follow system standards related to workflow analysis, system specifications generation, proof of concept validation and sign off, system configuration, application and integrated testing, change control, training, and implementations.
