Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is expanding its System Level Test organization to stress and validate SoCs at the system level, partnering with design teams for silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation.

The role focuses on testing hardware with system software, pushing performance under diverse voltage, temperature, and process variations, and creating automated test content to stress devices across mobile, compute, and modem chipsets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of semiconductor ATE Test Engineering experience.
• Interest in expanding from traditional ATE development into System Level Test.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93k and/or Teradyne platforms.
• Experience developing and supporting ATE test programs in Structural, Memory, and Functional test.
• Strong understanding of Design-for-Test (DFT) methodologies: SAF, TDF, SSN, Memory BIST, Fusing.
• Understanding of VLSI technologies – Digital Design, CPU architecture and semiconductor process.
• Experience with silicon characterization, yield analysis, and production test deployment.
• Programming: Python, Java, C#
• Experience in Linux and Windows development environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams for early-stage silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation.
• Test and characterize hardware with system software; verify device performance under varied conditions.
• Partner with development teams to create automated test content that stress SoCs across platforms and conditions.
• Develop production screens for silicon issues using ATE techniques on SLT and enhance debug capabilities.
