Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineer III to design, develop, and support electrical systems for Nomad vehicles and platforms. You will create schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD documentation while ensuring compliance with codes and customer requirements.

As a Level III engineer, you’ll mentor others, lead complex system-level work, and collaborate with manufacturing, IT, quality, and program management to ensure safe, reliable, and manufacturable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with ECAD tools (schematics, wire harnesses, revisions).
• Familiarity with standard Nomad equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies).
• Experience with SolidWorks Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support electrical systems for Nomad vehicles and platforms.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical codes, safety standards, and customer requirements.
• Support manufacturing by answering technical questions and resolving build issues.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with mechanical, IT, software, production, quality, and project teams.
• Apply continuous improvement to product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Uphold Nomad Core Values in all work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
