Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions (Nomad GCS) is seeking IT Engineers to design, document, test, and support IT systems powering Nomad vehicles and platforms. The role collaborates with Electrical, Mechanical, IT, and Production teams to ensure secure, reliable, and manufacturable designs.

Levels vary from entry to senior, with progression through learning foundations to leading complex architectures and mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with IT build documentation and BOMs.
• Knowledge of DISA/ TEMPEST compliance.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support IT systems for Nomad vehicles and platforms.
• Create and maintain IT build documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with security/government compliances, safety standards, and customer requirements.
• Support manufacturing by answering technical questions and improving design clarity.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, IT, Human Factors, Software, Production, Quality, and Project Management teams.
• Apply continuous improvement to improve quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Uphold Nomad Core Values in all work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
