Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. in Orlando is seeking a System Integration Test Engineer to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration solutions for in-house and COTS/GOTS components and systems. You will synthesize customer needs into testable system solutions while meeting schedule and cost constraints.

The role requires hands-on experience in SIL environments, agile methods, and scripting automated tests (Python, MATLAB) to verify performance and drive fixes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with C++.
• At least 2 years of experience in system integration.
• At least 2 years in a System/Software Integration Lab (SIL) testing.
• At least 2 years in an agile team environment with daily scrums and sprints.
• At least 2 years scripting automated tests (Python, MATLAB).
• At least 2 years integrating hardware and software using COTS/tools.
• At least 2 years analyzing Software Problems.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains integration solutions for components and systems.
• Synthesizes customer needs into system test solutions within schedule and cost constraints.
• Establishes specifications, resolves interface problems, and ensures full system integration.
• Develops test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems or subsystems.
• Coordinates testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Analyzes test results and prepares evaluation reports to verify performance.
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs regression testing to verify fixes.
• Works in an agile team environment with daily scrums and sprint cadences.
