Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a System Integration Business Analyst for a hybrid, full-time role. You will gather requirements, write functional specs, and collaborate with developers and QA teams to deliver modernized system integrations for public sector clients.

Travel may be required; strong communication and documentation are essential for success. Minimum 3 years with cloud-based software and experience with Agile/Waterfall, plus proficiency in MS Office tools and JIRA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with cloud-based software.
• Experience with COTS or SaaS solutions.
• Experience in all phases of SDLC using Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid.
• Experience implementing integrated solutions to modernize legacy systems and/or mainframe technology.
• Proficient with MS Office (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements via workshops and interviews.
• Write clear functional specifications for features.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions.
• Communicate with sponsors to review designs and collect feedback.
• Serve as central contact for development and QA staff.
• Provide timely updates on deliverables to project managers.
• Support integration of software components and third‑party apps.
• Document client use cases and business processes.
• Contribute to project docs: schedules, QA plans, testing plans.
