Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a System Integration Engineer Intern in Vehicle Electronics to join our internship program. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the integration and validation of Displays, Embedded Controllers, and other electronics systems on production-intent machines, gaining hands-on experience in embedded systems and construction equipment.

Summer interns work full-time, May through August, and must be currently enrolled in a related degree program.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Support system integration and validation of Displays and Embedded controllers on machines.
  • Perform onsite machine testing, software flashing, configuration and functional verification.
  • Collaborate with Systems, Software, Controls, and Platform Engineering teams to resolve integration issues.
  • Interface with Platform Validation Engineers to address any reported issues.
  • Document test results and issues while supporting prototype builds and system verification activities.

Intern Program Overview

We are committed to building a strong talent pipeline by investing in early career professionals. Our internship and co-op programs provide mentorship, training, hands-on experience, and growth opportunities that empower students to explore their career paths with confidence. Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.

The System Integration Engineer in Vehicle Electronics team is responsible for integrating and validating Displays, Embedded Controllers, and other Electronics systems to ensure that they perform reliably on production intent machines. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers in a hands-on, onsite environment, supporting machine integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation while gaining practical experience with embedded systems and Construction Equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support system integration and validation of Displays and Embedded controllers on machines.

Experience Required
  • Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (or) Electrical Engineering (or) Mechatronics Engineering (or) System Engineering.
Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $27.81 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.).

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
