Job description

As a System Integration Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, reporting to the system integration engineering manager. This small, motivated team designs, tests, and flies advanced automated systems, focusing on integrating hardware onto aircraft safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
You will own vehicle-level projects through planning, design, and testing phases. Your projects will include primary flight control hardware, data acquisition hardware, hardware-in-the-loop testing, ground station development, and integration with software and human-machine interface teams. You will perform system design, test, and installation readiness reviews, defining system bring-up and pre-flight functional testing requirements.

Basic Success Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with system design fundamentals
  • Ability to read electrical wiring schematics
  • Experience testing systems for proper performance
  • Proficiency in writing and running code
Preferred Success Criteria
  • Experience designing system architectures and evaluating design options to meet specific requirements
  • Ability to design, build, and operate test stands and equipment
  • Strong measurement, technical writing, and data analysis skills
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and learning
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
The estimated salary range is $110,000 to $168,000 annually, plus cash and stock options and benefits. Reliable Robotics strives to offer competitive compensation based on experience, expertise, market conditions, location, and pay equity.
