Job summary

LER TechForce is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to work on-site at a client in Allen Park, MI. The role focuses on providing on-site support for vehicle electrical systems during tooling trials, pilot production, and mass production launch phases, with emphasis on systems integration to meet engineering requirements.

The candidate should have a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in automotive electrical systems, and experience with Six Sigma, Vector CAN tools, and CAN

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an automotive electrical systems engineer.
  • At least 5 years of experience with disciplined, team-based problem solving (Six Sigma preferred).
  • Proven experience supporting new end of line vehicle launches and working within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Vector CAN tools, multimeters, and module software flashing.
  • Experience with CAN network troubleshooting, bus queries, and related diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with CAN log and data collection tools.

What you will be doing:

The successful candidate will provide on-site support for vehicle electrical systems during tooling trials, pilot production, and mass production launch phases. This role involves performing systems integration activities to ensure alignment with engineering requirements.

What you'll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in similar role at Ford as a automotive electrical systems Engineer.
  • At least 5 years of experience with disciplined, team-based problem solving (Six Sigma preferred)
