Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training available, ideal for those interested in healthcare or CNAs seeking a supportive workplace.

You may float among four metro locations as needed to support staffing and patient care. Provides patient care under RN supervision and assists with daily living activities, with a focus on patient comfort and family needs.

Qualifications

• Applicable Experience: 1 year
• BLS RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI); Mandt/CPI APS Healthstream

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living and care, such as bathing, personal hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
• Anticipates the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizes and modifies care according to the patient’s needs.
• Collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.

This is a great entry level position with on the job training available for an applicant that has been interested in joining the healthcare field but is not specifically certified. This opportunity is also a great position for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) that is looking for a supportive workplace to call home. You will have the opportunitytohelp improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating between departments as needed based on staffing and patient care needs. Shift Details

Part Time Nights 6:45pm-7:15am, 2 shifts per week ; Floats between all 4 metro locations: Saint Luke's Plaza, East, North, South, & Smithville

The Work
