Job summary

Apex Bridge Talent Group is seeking a Requirement Verification & Validation Engineer to join our aerospace-focused team in Everett, WA. Hybrid work setup; candidate must be able to travel to customer sites as needed and reside within commuting distance.

Role requires strong Systems Engineering knowledge, requirements management, and experience in verification/validation, with DOORS and ITRACS familiarity. Bachelor's degrees in Aerospace or Electrical & Electronics Engineering are preferred.

Job description

Work Setting: Hybrid, please look for candidates in Everett, WA, or nearby locations who can travel to the customer onsite whenever required. Preference should be given to local candidates or those within commuting distance.

Note: Must have THE CLIENT experience, is a plus.

• We are looking for a Requirement Verification & Validation Engineer with strong knowledge of Systems Engineering and experience in requirements management and verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate system requirements and identify appropriate verification methods and data.
• Identify evidence/data required to verify each requirement, including relevant sections of SCDs and supplier verification matrices.
• Review supplier verification matrices and recommend updates where required.
• Propose updates to requirements and/or verification module attributes based on verification findings.
• Support requirement traceability, validation, and verification activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering and requirements verification/validation.
• Good hands-on knowledge of DOORS.
• Good knowledge of ITRACS and PR processes.
• Experience in requirements management, verification methods, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working with Flight Deck systems is an added advantage.
• Aerospace/aviation industry experience is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in: Aerospace Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Must have required skills:

(V&V) Verification & Validation, and certification
