Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Centurion is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Systems Engineer position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructures, ensuring overall efficiency and reliability of systems.

This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IT systems to support the organization's infrastructure requirements.• Configure and maintain servers, networks, and storage systems.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of IT systems.

• Implement security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.

• Create and maintain system documentation for reference purposes.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend system enhancements.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.• Experience with virtualization technologies.

• Proficiency in system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).

• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenStack.

• Experience with enterprise system/network design and management

• Knowledge and application of Infrastructure-as-Code techniques and practices.

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

• Cloud and hybrid-cloud experience.

• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent is a plus.

• Clearance: Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Travel: < 10% (CONUS)
