We are currently seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the US Marine Corp portfolio of business systems. This position is hybrid with a 2 day on-site requirement in Quantico, VA.

What You’ll Do

Provide systems and software engineering support, documentation and process guidance/improvement adhering to the DoD Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.

Responsibilities

• Create and update engineering documentation, including systems requirements specifications (SRSs), version design documents (VDDs), engineering change proposals (ECPs), interface control documents (ICDs), memorandums of agreement (MOAs) and data sharing agreements
• Provide process improvement and guidance to the team
• Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or other related field, from an institution accredited in the United States
• Active DOD Secret security clearance
• 5-7 years general DoD System Engineering experience
• Experience supporting multiple business systems/software engineering efforts within a DoD program
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, etc
• Cloud experience HIGHLY desired
• 3 years creating and updating engineering documentation, specifically those listed above.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients

Salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer. Factors include the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's qualifications, and the contractual terms of the program.
