Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions in Fort Meade, Maryland seeks a System Engineer, Level 2 for a full-time day shift. This role offers a salary range of $149,300 to $164,300 per year, with starting pay based on education and experience, and increases based on credentials.

Responsibilities include performing systems engineering activities and preparing work products across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, analyzing alternatives, and delivering outputs in project and enterprise contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with four (4) years of general system engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• PhD may substitute for three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparing work products in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
• Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparing multiple work products in ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
• Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
• Analyze technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
• Develop and deliver a work product in ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
