Wyetech, LLC seeks a Systems Engineer with Apache NiFi expertise to join a team delivering data transformation, processing, and analytics for government clients. The role emphasizes secure data flows, compliance, and end‑to‑end system integration.

The engineer will apply ISO/IEC15288 lifecycle practices, collaborate with government stakeholders, and support Agile Scrum teams in designing, testing, and deploying NiFi-based solutions.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related, plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.
• High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related, plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
• PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or related, plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
• NiFi, experience with customer data flow architecture

• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design, test, and implementation of advanced cybersecurity-oriented capabilities

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with Apache NiFi expertise to join a team who automates the flow of data between software systems. The individual will work to provide solutions which enable Data Transformation, Processing and Analytic Solutions. Data from various sensors is ingested, transformed into standard formats, and enriched to improve knowledge and optimize analytic capabilities to achieve mission objectives and outcomes. Tools will be developed and integrated to allow for analysis and visualization.

Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

• Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal;
• Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement;
• Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management;
• Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.

This position requires PRIVAC. Candidate must have a current (within 7 years) poly and/or currently possess the minimum level of PRIVAC required for this role (NSYS).

This position is eligible for a $5k bonus! (Includes 20% SEP IRA contribution)

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Required Technical Skills
