Job summary

Adaptic LLC in the United States seeks a Systems Engineer to translate mission needs into system requirements and guide architecture across the lifecycle. You will shape CONOPS, link operational needs to technical requirements, and drive high-level design decisions.

You will develop and document CONOPS, operational requirements, and use cases, ensuring performance and interfaces meet mission priorities while coordinating with customers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with fewer years of experience.
• Experience across the lifecycle of engineering systems: conception, design, development, testing, production, deployment, operations, maintenance, support, and decommissioning.

Responsibilities

• Developing and documenting CONOPS, operational/system requirements, and use cases
• Translating operational needs into actionable technical requirements
• Performing high-level system design
• Defining system/component performance and interface requirements
• Developing installation, integration, and acceptance test strategies and plans
• Coordinating across customers, project teams, and partner organizations to ensure solutions satisfy requirements
• Assessing existing processes and engineering work products to identify improvements; supporting systems throughout design, development, testing, deployment, operations, maintenance, and support
• Helping product teams establish and maintain a shared technical and architectural vision
• Working across technical disciplines to resolve system-level challenges and keep solutions aligned with mission objectives

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who can move comfortably between requirements, architecture, integration, testing, and mission priorities—while keeping technical teams aligned around a common vision.

Your Impact
