Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to analyze requirements and lead design and development activities for federal government projects. You will guide requirements formulation, perform feasibility studies, and provide technical leadership for integration across teams.

The role requires active security clearance and experience with system architectures, containerized software, and Kubernetes. You’ll interact with government customers and senior leadership, ensuring technical integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Linux experience is required.
• Knowledge of working with containerized software is preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, concepts of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternatives and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations and develop technical documentation.
• Develop system architecture and design documentation and guide system development and implementation planning.
• Interact with Government regarding SE considerations and issue resolution.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for technical integrity of work and deliverables.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering are of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Qualifications (Level 0)

• No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science,
• Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Qualifications (Level 1)

• Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Will work on the Abyss team providing maintenance and support to the software.
• Will optimize and maintain sensor.
• Will perform installs, configuration, integration, patches, and security architecture changes.
• Linux experience is required.
• Knowledge of working with containerized software is preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
