Job summary

Trinity Global Consulting is seeking an experienced ArcGIS specialist to deploy, migrate, and optimize ArcGIS across diverse environments in support of critical client SLAs.

You will work closely with customers and partners to design and certify GIS workflows, while coordinating with internal teams to align technical objectives with Esri's platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, GIS or STEM field required.
• 8+ years of professional ArcGIS-related experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and administering enterprise ArcGIS or comparable IT systems.
• Broad system administration on Windows and/or Linux.
• Scripting/programming in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or C#.
• Familiarity with networks: DNS, firewalls, load-balancing.
• Experience with at least one RDBMS: SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• US Citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Job description

Duties May Include:

• Deploy and configure ArcGIS across a wide variety of environments including operating systems, cloud providers, security architectures, and customer organizations to meet service level agreements
• Plan and execute migration of content from one ArcGIS deployment to another, encompassing different architectures, deployment strategies, and software components
• Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments, providing guidance for platform components such as storage, networking, and security
• Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
• Collaborate internally to help customer organizations align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri's technology platform

Requirements Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or STEM-related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities
• Experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or comparable IT systems (desktop, server, and online)
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or C#)
• Familiarity with network concepts and topics (domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, load-balancing)
• Experience with at least one RDBMS including SQL query writing (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL)
• US Citizenship required
• Active or current (within two years of active) Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or STEM-related field
• One or more industry-standard IT certifications (Esri, Microsoft, or Amazon)
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Runtime, and their associated APIs or interfaces
• Cloud-based system operations (SysOps) experience
