Analogy Associates is seeking a systems engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and polygraph to apply the full lifecycle of systems engineering across concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.

You will interact with government program personnel and senior executives to address technical considerations and ensure deliverables meet required quality and integrity standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus four years of systems engineering experience.
  • HS diploma/GED with four years of general systems engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Master's degree may substitute for one year of systems engineering experience.
  • PhD may substitute for three years of systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Apply systems engineering life cycle processes from concept to retirement.
  • Interact with government program personnel and senior executives on technical considerations.
  • Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables across ISO/IEC15288 process areas.

Education

Bachelor's degree in qualified engineering field or related discipline
Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience
PhD may substitute for three years of experience

Job description

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph.
Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288: Technical Process Area – Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal; Project Process Area – Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement; Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area – Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Life-cycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management; Agreement Process Area – Acquisition and Supply.

Educational and Professional Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience. OR A High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area) may be substituted for a Bachelors degree. OR A Masters degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of systems engineering experience. OR A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university may be substituted for three (3) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Note 1- Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
  • Note 2 – Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.
