Job summary

InnoForge is seeking a Systems Engineer to work across the full spacecraft lifecycle, from early concept and requirements through integration, launch and on-orbit operations.

This hands-on role spans spacecraft hardware, software, payloads, ground systems and mission operations.

ITAR eligibility is required; this position offers real technical ownership on a growing program in the US space sector, based in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• 4+ years within spacecraft, aerospace, defence or similar complex systems.
• Strong systems engineering experience across multiple lifecycle phases.
• Requirements development and interface definition experience.
• Exposure to spacecraft integration, verification and testing.
• Ability to translate mission objectives into system and subsystem requirements.
• Hands-on systems role across spacecraft hardware, software, payloads, ground systems and mission operations.
• ITAR eligibility required.

InnoForge is supporting a fast-growing US space company developing a new approach to how spacecraft operate and deploy capability in orbit.

We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to work across the full spacecraft lifecycle, from early concept and requirements through integration, launch and on-orbit operations.

This is a hands‑on systems role where you’ll work across spacecraft hardware, software, payloads, ground systems and mission operations.

The role will involve:

• Developing and managing system requirements, interfaces and technical baselines
• Translating mission objectives into system and subsystem requirements
• Supporting spacecraft integration, verification and validation
• Supporting spacecraft testing, mission simulations, launch and on-orbit operations
• 4+ years within spacecraft, aerospace, defence or similarly complex systems
• Strong systems engineering experience across multiple lifecycle phases

• Exposure to spacecraft integration, verification and testing
