Job summary

Orise in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a software engineer to participate in all phases of customer projects including design, implementation, documentation, and validation for industrial applications. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver solutions on schedule and within budget.

The role requires collaboration with customers to ensure SDLC compliance, integration with ERP/process control systems (e.g., DeltaV, SAP), and the ability to install, start-up, and qualify systems remotely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software or related technical engineering discipline.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Detail-oriented with attention to testing and documentation.
• Experience with SDLC and working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute an internal development plan.
• Design, implement, and test software applications for production data acquisition and control systems.
• Integrate with ERP/process control systems (DeltaV, SAP) using various protocols.
• Develop reports for Batch Release, Process Performance, and Predictive Maintenance.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure required network connectivity and hardware is in place.
• Work with project team to define specifications and stay within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with Automation Lead and Quality to implement SDLC; participate in installation and start-up.
• Perform system qualification respecting industry rules and regulations.
