TAD PGS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the development and certification of avionics systems in a safety-critical aerospace environment. You will lead system integration, verification, validation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years in avionics or safety-critical systems, and strong knowledge of DO-178C, ARP4754B, and relevant interfaces such as MIL-STD-1553B or RS-485.

Qualifications

• Experience with requirements, architecture, integration, verification and validation.
• Knowledge of DO-178C and ARP4754B.

Pay Range $75-$120 hr (based on various factors)

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the development and certification of avionics systems in a safety-critical aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, allocate, and manage system requirements and traceability.
• Create and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Lead system integration, verification, validation, and testing activities.
• Support safety assessments including FHA, PSSA, SSA, and FMEA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
• Support certification activities and technical audits.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, safety, and certification teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of avionics or safety-critical systems engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
• Knowledge of DO-178C and ARP4754B.
• Experience with MIL-STD-1553B and/or RS-485 interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ARP4761A safety processes.
• Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
• Python or C# scripting experience.
• Hands-on lab experience using oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, and simulators.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
