Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading energy provider, is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support mission-critical infrastructure and OT initiatives. The role emphasizes reliability and security of critical systems in a hybrid Moncks Corner, SC setting.

You will manage Windows Server and RHEL environments, troubleshoot AD and network issues, handle updates and patching, and support enterprise backup and security monitoring.

Optomi, in partnership with a leading energy provider, is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support mission-critical infrastructure and high-priority Operational Technology (OT) initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a skilled infrastructure team, troubleshoot complex environments, and play a key role in maintaining the reliability and security of critical systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Administer and support Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Troubleshoot server, application, Active Directory, and network infrastructure issues.
• Manage system updates, patching, and endpoint security.
• Support enterprise backup, security monitoring, and infrastructure platforms.
• Assist with network monitoring, switch configurations, and critical infrastructure projects.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support mission-critical operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Hands-on experience administering both Windows Server and RHEL.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise backup, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools.
• Ability to independently resolve complex technical issues while collaborating with a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with NERC CIP-regulated environments is a plus!
• Location: Moncks Corner, SC | Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 remote)
