Job description

JCW is working on an exciting search for a year long contract with a leading medical device company seeking a skilled System & Equipment Development Engineer to support the design, integration, and optimization of medical devices.

This role is hybrid out of Plymouth, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing and grow new manufacturing technology
• Procure & qualify capital equipment, tooling, and fixtures for manufacturing
• Plans, organizes, and manages related projects and staff as appropriate
• Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or similar).
• 5 years of experience in medical device or regulated industry development.
• Proven experience with process scale-up and development
• Proficiency with Solidworks and embedded systems is a plus.
