Zero Homes is hiring a System Designer to join our in-house technical team in Denver. You will complete Manual J/S, scope electrical upgrades to NEC 220.83, and specify water heater and battery upgrades for energy-efficient homes.
Collaborate with home comfort advisors, sales, and installation managers to ensure designs meet customer specs and codes. You will also develop design docs, specs, and quotes, guiding Field Operations to high-quality heat pump solutions.

We are hiring a System Designer to join our in-house technical team. This role will involve completing Manual J/S with HVAC design software, scoping electrical requirements and upgrades to NEC 220.83 standards, specifying water heater and battery upgrades, and scoping weatherization projects. Designers will work closely with home comfort advisors, sales teams, and installation managers to ensure systems are designed according to customer specifications, building codes, and energy efficiency standards. This role will also support the development of design documents, plans, specifications, and quotes, ensuring that high-quality solutions are delivered by our Field Operations team. Ultimately, Designers will be responsible for establishing quality control processes that ensure all designs and heat pump solutions going to customers meet Zero Homes’ rigorous standards.
$85,000 - $125,000 a year
