Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union in Raleigh, NC is seeking a capable Operations Analyst to support banking processes and incident management. You will assist with troubleshooting production systems, testing new technologies, and preparing user guides forCheck imaging and related workflows.

The role requires at least 2 years in banking operations, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting production systems and incident/problem management, documenting issues and coordinating resolutions with appropriate technical teams.
• Assist with product testing, defect analysis, implementation, validation and conversion efforts, preparation of training materials and user guides for new technologies, and enhancements related to check imaging systems and processes.
• Provide resolution support to business units/teams related to items processing, image exchange, check image retention, exception processing, returns processing, and branch, ATM and mobile remote deposit capture.
• Work closely with senior staff and managers to ensure all system updates and design changes meet organizational requirements and are implemented in a timely manner. Attend and lead project meetings within departments as well as with other user groups, technical teams and vendors.
• Maintain working knowledge of item/check processing systems and business user functionality to ensure system design and testing is applicable to organizational directives and end user environments.

Essential Responsibilities:

• (30%) Assist with troubleshooting production systems and incident/problem management when required, documentation of system issues while coordinating resolutions with appropriate technical teams.
• (30%) Assist with product testing, defect analysis, implementation, validation and conversion efforts, preparation of training materials and user guides for new technologies, and enhancements related to check imaging systems and processes. Testing and validation includes database and security updates to ensure application compatibility.
• (15%) Provide resolution support to business units/teams related to items processing, image exchange, check image retention, exception processing, returns processing, and branch, ATM and mobile remote deposit capture.
• (15 %) Work closely with senior staff and managers to ensure all system updates and design changes meet organizational requirements and are implemented in a timely manner. Attend and lead project meetings within departments as well as with other user groups, technical teams and vendors.
• (10%) Maintain working knowledge of item/check processing systems and business user functionality to ensure system design and testing is applicable to organizational directives and end user environments.

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

• Experience in: Check data and image capture Item processing workflows Payment systems integration Check Industry standards and file formats Item processing sort patterns Branch/operation user functionality Check system workflow designs

A hybrid remote and in-office setting.

In-office setting includes physical proximity to other employees and some background noise from other employees, printers, phones, etc.

After-hours support during system implementation or critical processing periods.

Availability during operational outages or business continuity events may be required.

Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via collaboration tools.
