Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a System Architecture SME to blend technical depth with big-picture thinking for national security missions. You will translate real-world needs into technical specs, lead engineering, and shape client requirements while mentoring peers and exploring Zero Trust and cloud technologies.

Key CS/IT competencies include Cisco UCS, VMware vSphere, AD, Group Policy, NetApp ONTAP, Python, and PowerShell. TS/SCI clearance and a HS diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco UCS chassis, including blade servers and integrated components, to support enterprise workloads.
• Experience configuring fabric interconnects for centralized management.
• Experience with server management, VMware, vSphere, AD DS, and Group Policy.
• Experience Windows server setup, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting networks.
• Experience designing server rooms, including NetApp ONTAP.
• Experience with Python and PowerShell scripting.

You Have:

• Experience with Cisco UCS chassis, including blade servers and integrated components, to support enterprise workloads, and implementing service profiles in UCS Manager to streamline server provisioning, enforce consistency, and reduce deployment time
• Experience configuring fabric interconnects for centralized management and unified fabric networking
• Experience with server management, and utilizing VMware, vSphere 7 or 8, Active Directory Domain Services, and Group Policy
• Experience managing Windows, including server setup, deployment, and maintenance, and troubleshooting networks
• Experience designing server rooms, including servers and networking, and NetAPP ONTAP
• Experience with Python and PowerShell scripting
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with shell scripting or PowerShell and automation tools
• Experience administering and maintaining multiple hypervisor environments, including Microsoft Hyper‑V and VMware vCenter
• Ability to conduct independent research and apply solutions
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
