Job summary
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a lead Systems Administrator to guide a team in monitoring, performance management, and modernization of a critical network. You will turn metrics into information and mentor the team to develop new methodologies. This role emphasizes leadership and hands-on administration.
You'll work with Linux/Unix systems, manage software pipelines, and collaborate with operations and development teams to drive improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of systems administration experience, or 15+ years without a degree.
- Experience as tier 3 support for a GOTS software product.
- Experience triaging between operations and software development teams.
- Experience testing software and aiding in configuration management and software pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker and Nifi.
- Experience administering Linux/Unix systems.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

- Experience as tier 3 support for a GOTS software product
- Experience as triage support between operations and a software development team
- Experience testing software and aiding in configuration management and software pipeline

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
