Staffed4U seeks an experienced System Administrator Level 2 to support a mission-critical program in a highly secure environment in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role emphasizes maintaining enterprise IT systems, cloud deployments on AWS, and applying DevOps practices to ensure reliability and security.

The ideal candidate has extensive SysAdmin experience, a technical degree (or equivalent 5-year substitution), and a strong background in secure enterprise operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 5 additional years may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and AWS environments; strong troubleshooting skills and secure enterprise experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Manage operating systems, servers, applications, and system services.
• Support AWS cloud infrastructure and assist with cloud-based deployments.
• Utilize DevOps tools and practices to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and OS problems.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and maintenance.
• Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and cybersecurity teams to support mission objectives.
