Job summary

Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization is seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure across Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, networking, VoIP, and cloud services. You will back up systems, secure networks, and keep documentation up to date.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, troubleshooting, implementing preventative maintenance, and providing end-user support through a helpdesk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area; may be required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience as a System Administrator.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience administering VoIP systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server infrastructure (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades).
  • Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative maintenance.
  • Manage virtual server environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures.
  • Configure and maintain network monitoring tools.
  • Manage and maintain VoIP phone systems (RingCentral, Avaya, 3CX).
  • Troubleshoot VoIP issues including call quality, voicemail, and conferencing.
  • Configure and manage VoIP features such as call routing, voicemail, and recording.
  • Integrate VoIP systems with other business applications.
  • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor security logs and investigate security incidents.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Install and maintain security software (antivirus, anti-malware).
  • Manage and maintain cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Migrate on-premises systems to the cloud.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to end-users via helpdesk tickets.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.

Job description
