  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification required.

System Administrator Level IV

HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  1. Provide Tier 1, 2, and 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
  2. Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  3. Perform account management, e.g., establishing, activating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
  4. Ensure configuration management and compliance with system security controls.
  5. Perform vulnerability scans of systems periodically.
  6. Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
  7. Implement security patches and record patch status appropriately.
  8. Support escalation and communication of system status to management and customers.
  9. Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity planning.
  10. Provide troubleshooting expertise for IT systems.
  11. Analyze and report on escalated issues to management.
  12. Support hardware and system dispatch and resolution processes.
  13. Configure and manage UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, troubleshoot, and optimize network components.
  14. Coordinate with ISSO and ISO regarding system changes, security milestones, and compliance.
  15. Ensure IT assets comply with ICAM policies.
  16. Support system and hardware design, analyze complex problems, and assist with system architecture.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 4 years of additional SA experience.

Experience: 20+ years as a SA in similar scope programs.

Certifications:

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III
  • CE Certification (Microsoft OS, CentOS/Red Hat)
  • 8+ years in Service Management (ITSM)
  • ITIL 4 certification
  • Experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, PAM, MS Exchange, or VDI solutions.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

The salary range is approximately $153,000 - $207,000, based on experience and location. Our benefits include health plans, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, disability, life insurance, and more. We aim to offer competitive and valued benefits to our employees.
